Wie kann man eine LiveCD oder DVD auf einen USB Stick bringen/How to create a bootable USB stick?

Mittlerweile sind die USB Sticks so billig und auch größer als CDs, dass es sich mittlerweile lohnt keine NotCD mehr zu erstellen sonder einen NotUSB Stick. Das richtige Tools für Linux ist dabei unetbootin (Englishe Webseite). Einfach eine LiveISO runterladen und mit dem Tool auf einen USB kopieren. Voila. Als nützliche LiveISOs bietet sich ein Linux Mint oder Linux LiveCDs von anderen LinuxDistributionen ( Liste von Linux liveCD Distros ) an oder auch SystemRescueCD (deutsche, englische, französische und spanische Webseite) wobei letzeres sich gleich auf USB installieren kann und nur 512 MB benöitigt. ===> English <=== USB Sticks are very cheap and can get much more data than a CD or DVD and it's much faster to crate a rescue USB stick. The right tool on LInux is unetbootin. Just download a LiveISO and copy it with the tool on the USB stick. Voila. A nice LiveISOs is provided by Linux Mint or Linux LiveCDs from other Linux distros ( List of Linux liveCD Distros ) or SystemRescueCD (German, English, French and Spanish Website). Last one doesn't need unetbootin and is very small (512 MB).
